  • What is Living Local Dayton?
    Living Local Dayton is a subscription box service that delivers locally made products from Dayton-area vendors directly to your door. Our goal is to support small businesses while providing customers with high-quality, curated items each month.
  • What types of products are included in the boxes?
    Each box contains a selection of locally made products that align with the theme you choose. We currently offer: Household Essentials Box – Eco-friendly cleaning supplies Bath & Body Box – Handcrafted soaps, lotions, and shampoo Self-Care Box – Candles, teas, skincare, and wellness products Local Love Box – A mix of Dayton’s best locally made products
  • How do I sign up for a subscription?
    You can subscribe directly on our website by choosing your preferred box and payment plan. Subscriptions are billed monthly, and deliveries follow a set schedule based on your zip code.
  • Can I purchase a single box without a subscription?
    At this time, we primarily offer a subscription-based service. However, we may introduce one-time purchase options for special edition boxes. Stay tuned for updates!
  • How often are boxes delivered?
    We deliver boxes once per month, based on a scheduled route organized by zip code.
  • Do you ship boxes outside of Dayton?
    Currently, we only offer local delivery within the Greater Dayton area to maintain our commitment to supporting the local community and reducing our carbon footprint.
  • How will I know when my box is arriving?
    You will receive an email or text notification with your estimated delivery date each month.
  • What happens if I’m not home during delivery?
    If you are not available, your box will be left in a safe location at your doorstep. If you have specific delivery instructions, please include them when placing your order.
  • Can I return or exchange items in my box?
    Because we feature handcrafted and small-batch products from local vendors, all sales are final. However, if an item arrives damaged or is incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
  • What if I have allergies or sensitivities?
    If you have known allergies, we recommend reviewing product details before use. We cannot offer exchanges based on personal preferences, but you can let us know about your sensitivities, and we’ll do our best to accommodate in future selections.
  • Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
    Yes! You can modify, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time. Just be sure to make changes at least 7 days before your next scheduled delivery to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
  • Where do the products come from?
    All products are sourced from small businesses, artisans, and makers within the Greater Dayton area. By subscribing, you’re directly supporting the local economy and helping independent businesses thrive.
  • I own a local business. How can I get my products in a box?
    We love partnering with local vendors! If you’re interested in featuring your products in one of our boxes, please fill out the vendor application or reach out via email, locallivingdayton@gmail.com, for more information.
